A busy day today. We had to wait for one hour before we got the go ahead to pass through the 1.5 mile long Harecastle tunnel. Then we proceeded to descend ‘heartbreak hill’ a set of locks that seem to never end.
We decided that because we worked so hard today, we will treat ourselves with a meal out tonight – not sure where yet but I am sure we will find one of the pubs in the village suitable…..
