Pulled the pins at 08:00 and headed down to Rugby. Stopped off at the water point at Newbold to top up the tank and also stopped off at Tesco to pick up a few things while passing.
Passed Andy on nb Khayamanzi and his brother Steve on nb K2 –photos below. Unfortunately, the photo of Khayamanzi came out a bit blurred. I have exchanged emails with Andy in the past but today is the first time we have ever crossed paths in the flesh so to speak.
Moored up at a nice spot just south of Rugby golf course, will probably stay here until around Tuesday then turn and head north to the Ashby canal.
There have been quite a few boats out and about today, must be something to do with the school holidays. Lots of hire boats with college students out and about as well.
