Ten Bob Note

Well, plans change. We had intended to move down to Uxbridge yesterday but when we found the wood we had been told about, we just had to stop and ‘harvest’ it. We now have a roof load of logs – just a shame that it’s Willow, but, as they say, beggars can’t be choosers. We have been burning some Willow that we found back in the summer and it actually burns quite well when it’s dry.

Now in Uxbridge again. We went up to the town to do a bit of shopping and the place was packed. Good trade for the shops leading up to Xmas.

As we found it - shame it's Willow but beggars can't be choosers - as they say.....
