Popped into Frampton village post office this morning before pulling the pins and popping down to Sharpness for a look around.
We were low on water and arrived at Sharpness to find the water tap out of order so turned and headed back north to fill up. We need to be in Gloucester on Wednesday to pick up visitors so decided to just keep on going so that we don’t need to move again tomorrow.
We have enjoyed the Gloucester & Sharpness canal and plan to be around here for the next week – however, it can get a little boring as all of the bridges are operated by BW staff and there are no locks. It’s definitely well worth a visit though.
Stopped off at ACP Fuels in Frampton to top up with diesel, at 65p per litre, it is the lowest price in this area.
