Pulled the pins around 08:30 and move the short distance to New Mills marina. A miserable wet morning but we had no choice but to move.
Arrived at the marina to find that there was no where for us to moor as the space that was ear marked for us would not be vacated until some time later in the day. After some discussion it was agreed that the boat currently occupying the space allocated to us would be moved so that we could get properly moored up and connected to the shore line etc. so that we knew all was well before heading off to Cornwall early the following morning.
Enterprise, the car hire company came over to the marina to pick us up and take us to their depot to fill out the paper work and to pick up the hire car. We had a choice of cars and opted for a Toyota Aygo as I had one for a short while just before we moved onto the boat and loved it.
We spent the night in the marina then headed off to Cornwall before 06:00 the following morning.
