Friday 11th July 2008 Location: Warwick, Warwickshire, Grand Union Canal Today: 5 miles, 17 locks. Total distance: 1522 miles. Total locks: 1107 Pulled the pins at 07:00 and headed off to the top of the Hatton flight to top up with water for the weekend as we probably won’t move again until Monday. Dropped down through the first 18 locks of the 21 lock Hatton flight. Moored up at the nice spot that we moored at back on the 1st of July when we were heading up the flight. We came down through the flight on our own as no one else was up and about when we started down. We find that working through the double locks on our own is much quicker and easier than it is if we have another boat travelling with us. There is a garage right beside the canal just above lock 31 that sells papers and milk etc. Very handy. All being well weather wise, we hope to walk into Warwick over the weekend for a bit of a look around the town. Saturday 12th Current Mooring
