Fitted the Asbestolux boarding today and re-fitted the stove. It took a good 8 hours to do the work.

Used the old ceramic tiles as a base for the fire as they are good quality Stovax tiles and are brighter looking than the original base tiles. Fixed the tiles on top of the originals to provide a nice thick base. Had to cut more off the flue pipe due to the additional layer of tiles raising the stove up more.

Had a real heavy thunder storm in the evening, right in the middle of watching the f word. The cloud cut off the satellite reception it was so heavy.

The next time we pass a B & Q or similar, we will get some tiles to tile over the Asbestolux boarding.
