Ten Bob Note

Sunday 29th March 2009

Location: Napton, Warwickshire, South Oxford Canal

Today: 6 miles, 1 locks. Total distance: 2033 miles.  Total locks: 1365

A glorious day today weather wise, a vast improvement on the last couple of days.

Pulled the pins around 11:00 and had a lovely cruise along to Napton.

Topped up the water tank at the Napton water point before moving up through the bottom lock to moor up for the night.

Passed nb Derwent 6 moored up at Napton. Said a quick hello but couldn’t stop for a chat due to on-coming boats.

Speaking of boats, passed quite a few today, looks like the warm weather has brought them all out for the day.
