Walked the dogs to Rugby train station this morning to have a look around as may be needing to travel down to visit Cornwall soon. The station is only about a mile from where we were moored and is a pleasant walk. There is a regular bus service from Banbury to Rugby via Braunston if needed.

Left Rugby around 10:00 and headed down to Braunston. We have always liked Braunston and have spent a lot of time around the area as we were moored at Ventnor Farm for just over a year.

Moored up and walked with the dogs to the chandlers at the bottom lock to pick up some oil for the generator. The oil will need changing in another 20 hours so have picked some up while we had the opportunity.

Will probably pop up to the Old Plough for a meal this evening as we like their food.

nb Digitalis moored at Braunston. We have crossed paths with her several times in recent weeks.
